Manage your websites

The Websites section lists every site on your account and lets you add more (up to your plan’s limit).

Add a website

  1. Go to Websites → Add website.
  2. Enter the domain (e.g. example.com). Point its DNS A record at the server IP shown — if the domain is managed here, that’s done for you.
  3. Save. OrbixPanel creates the document root, a web-server vhost, and (where available) requests an SSL certificate automatically.

Your first website can also be created as part of your account setup, so you may already have one.

Set the primary website

The primary site is the default for your account (it’s where your home directory’s public files are served). Use Set as primary on the site you want as the main one.

Enable HTTPS / SSL

Each site has a Request SSL action. OrbixPanel issues a free Let’s Encrypt certificate and switches the site to HTTPS. If issuance fails, it’s almost always DNS — make sure the domain’s A record points at this server and retry in a few minutes.

Upload your site files

Use the File Manager to upload into the site’s document root — the folder named after your domain, shown in Websites. For a database app, create a database first and point your app’s config at it.
