System & services

Operate the server itself — the running pieces, scheduled work, and diagnostics.

Services

Services shows system services (web server, database, mail, etc.) with start / stop / restart / enable. Use it to restart a service after a config change or bring one back up.

Processes

Processes is a live process list (like top) with CPU/memory per process. Spot a runaway process and stop it.

Cron jobs

Cron Jobs schedules recurring server tasks. Set the five-field schedule and the command (use absolute paths). Examples: */5 * * * * (every 5 min), 0 3 * * * (daily 03:00).

Logs & log explorer

  • Logs — quick access to key log files (web, mail, system).
  • Log Explorer — search and filter across logs to trace an error or an incident.

Terminal

Terminal is an in-browser shell for quick commands. Note it runs unprivileged (no sudo) by design — for privileged app tasks (install deps, migrations) use the app Maintenance panel instead.

Tasks

Tasks lists background jobs the panel dispatches to the agent (deploys, SSL issuance, etc.) with status and output — the place to confirm an action finished or see why it failed.

Updates

Update keeps OrbixPanel current: it shows the available version and applies updates atomically with rollback on failure. Update regularly for security and features.

Ops agent

Ops Agent surfaces the agent’s own status and self-monitoring. See also AI & automation.
