Deploy apps

The Apps section runs applications (Node.js, Python, and more) on your account and installs ready-made apps from the catalog.

Deploy your own app

The smoothest path is Deploy from Git: paste your repository URL and OrbixPanel clones it, installs dependencies, builds, and starts it for you — no SSH needed.

1. Apps → Create / Deploy from Git.
2. Paste the repo URL (add a token for a private repo), pick the branch.
3. Choose the runtime (Node/Python/…), the port your app listens on, and a domain or subdomain to serve it.
4. Deploy. Watch the live log; the app starts under a managed service that auto-restarts.

Prefer to upload a build instead? Upload it via the File Manager, then create the app pointing at that folder.

Environment variables

Open the app → Environment Variables, paste KEY=value lines, and Save & restart. Secrets (DB URL, API keys) are stored encrypted. PORT is injected for you.

Start / stop / logs

Each app has Start, Stop, Restart, and a Logs view for troubleshooting a crash or a bad deploy.

One-click apps

Open the App Catalog to install popular apps (CMSs, tools) in a few clicks — OrbixPanel handles the setup. Pick an app, choose the domain, and install.

Attach a domain + SSL: set the app’s domain, then Request SSL to serve it over HTTPS (see Websites).
