Apps & runtimes
Run applications of any stack, with the panel handling the service, reverse proxy, and SSL.
App manager & Git deploy
Apps lists deployed applications. The smoothest way to deploy is Deploy from Git:
- Paste the repo URL (add a token for private repos) and branch.
- OrbixPanel clones, detects the runtime, runs
npm ci/build (or pip, go build, composer), and starts it under a managed service with auto-restart. - Attach a domain and Request SSL.
Previous releases are kept so you can promote/rollback. Re-deploy to ship an update.
Maintenance (install / build / Prisma — no SSH)
Expand an app → Maintenance to run, server-side as the service user:
- Install dependencies and Build
- Prisma: Generate / DB Push / Migrate / Seed
This replaces SSH-ing in (the panel terminal is unprivileged by design). Full walkthrough: Deploy an API without SSH or sudo.
Environment variables, start/stop, logs
Each app has an Environment Variables editor (stored encrypted), Start/Stop/ Restart, and a Logs view.
Runtimes
- Node.js — manage installed Node versions used by apps.
- PHP — install PHP versions and extensions; set the version per site and tune
memory_limit,upload_max_filesize, etc.
Docker & app catalog
- Docker — view and manage containers; deploy Compose-based apps.
- App Catalog — install popular apps (CMSs/tools) in a click, no GitHub token needed.
Ports
Ports is the central registry of which app uses which port, so deployments don’t collide. Assign or free ports here.
Static sites, Node/Python/Go services, and PHP/Laravel are all supported — the deploy flow detects the type and serves it the right way (static files, reverse proxy, or php-fpm).
