Create hosting packages (plans) to sell
A package (plan) is what your customers buy. It sets the price and the limits of what their account can use. Create a few tiers and your storefront is ready to sell.
What a package defines
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Display name | the plan name customers see (e.g. “Starter”, “Pro”) |
| Price & currency | the amount charged, per billing cycle |
| Billing cycle | monthly, yearly, etc. |
| Disk | storage the account gets (MB) |
| Bandwidth | monthly transfer (MB) |
| Max websites / subdomains | how many sites they can host |
| Max databases | MySQL databases allowed |
| Max email accounts | mailboxes allowed |
| Max apps / cron jobs | deployed apps and scheduled tasks |
| CPU / memory caps | compute limits (for resource governance) |
| Features | optional feature flags for the plan |
| Public / Featured | whether it shows on the storefront, and whether it’s highlighted |
Set any limit to unlimited where you don’t want a cap (internally
-1). Use real caps on lower tiers so heavy users upgrade.
Create one
- In the panel (Reseller mode), open Packages.
- Create a package, set the display name, price, and billing cycle.
- Set the resource limits for the tier.
- Mark it public so it appears on your storefront; optionally featured to highlight it.
See the reference guide: Packages.
A sensible starting lineup
- Starter — tight disk/bandwidth, 1–2 sites. Your entry price.
- Professional — room for several sites, more email and databases. Your “most popular” (mark it featured).
- Business — generous limits for power users.
Tune the limits so each tier clearly outgrows the one below — that’s what drives upgrades. For how to set the prices themselves, see Price your plans.
